FSU football is set to host a number of recruits for its Junior Day scheduled for this week. Recruits seem to be excited about visiting the Noles.

FSU football is off to a good start with its 2020 class and will look to impress some key targets this weekend.

The Noles have six commits in the early going for what could be a huge and pivotal class for Willie Taggart.

The staff needs to land a number of elite players this cycle, especially in the trenches where they have not landed an elite player since Marvin Wilson and Joshua Kaindoh in 2017.

They’ve already landed a top target at quarterback in Jeff Sims who is doing a great job of recruiting and helping the staff identify potential targets.

A number of recruits seem to be excited about visiting the Noles this weekend.

Thoughts

The Noles need to establish some momentum this weekend and add some quality players to this class.

There are big needs at defensive tackle, defensive end, running back, wide receivers and offensive line. The staff has already addressed linebacker with two commits already in the fold, but they’ll likely be looking to take one more as long as he’s a quality player.

They’ll likely need to take another quarterback in this class although Sims was one of their top targets too.

I know some fans are worried about the lack of star power, but if you’ll recall most of the big time recruits came during the spring game last year. I expect that will likely happen again this year.

The great thing is recruits are still showing heavy interest in FSU although the program is coming off its worst season in 40 years. Who would you like to see the Noles land this weekend if possible?
