FSU football was well represented in the secondary for the AFC during Sunday’s game, and one former Nole had no problem letting recruits know where to go.

On a rainy afternoon inside Camping World Stadium in Orlando, some of the NFL’s best players took part in the annual Pro Bowl game – a battle that hasn’t meant much since being played before the Super Bowl, but still brings some of the biggest names that this year included two former FSU football stars.

Derwin James from the Los Angeles Chargers and Jalen Ramsey from the Jacksonville Jaguars were part of the festivities and played a vital role in helping the AFC get their third straight victory in the series – but ironically, it was a play from Ramsey that had nothing to do with defense that stole the show.

In the fourth quarter, the former FSU football standout put the icing on the cake for the junior conference with a six yard touchdown reception while lined up along with James at wide receiver.

James was the target on the next play, a two point conversion attempt, that failed to be completed – which would have been a nightmare for those who hate on the Seminoles if it had worked because we would have reminded everyone that former Noles can do ANYTHING on the field.

After the game, the always bashful Ramsey (sarcasm, of course) and James let the cameras know that they handled business and which school is the real DBU – as if it wasn’t obvious already – before Ramsey delivered a simple message to all of those recruits out there who haven’t been looking at FSU football as a possible destination.

Yeah, that’s pretty much what we’ve been saying all along. The Seminoles are going to be back after last year’s hiccup and you have two choices if you are a recruit – you can either be a part of what’s going to take place or you can just be in the way of the ensuing train.

If anyone is going to be a perfect example of why you go to play for the Noles, Ramsey would be it. A national title as a freshman followed by All-American seasons that led to being a top five pick in the NFL? Yeah, if you want that you know where to go.
