CFP Championship: 3 reasons Clemson beats Alabama
By Kelvin Hunt
The CFP Championship will feature two teams familiar to everyone with Clemson taking on Alabama for the third time in four years. We talk why Clemson wins.
The CFP Championship played Monday night will mark the end of the 2018 college football season.
FSU fans have been waiting for 2019 for some time after missing its first bowl game in 36 seasons.
They’ll see a familiar team playing when ACC Atlantic rival Clemson looks to earn their second national championship under Dabo Swinney. They’re the measuring stick FSU football has to match if they want to return to prominence in the Willie Taggart era.
Of course they’ll be taking on Alabama who comes into this game as a near touchdown favorite. Alabama was the betting favorite in 2016 when we picked the Tigers to pull off the upset with Deshaun Watson.
After watching a lot of both teams this season it looks like we’ll be going with the underdog again. It’s strength against strength across the board with both teams having impact players all over the field.
As usual, it’ll likely come down to who makes the less mistakes like turnovers or some crazy play on special teams. However, barring all those things I want to present three reasons why the Clemson Tigers will beat Alabama Monday night.
