2018 College Football Bowl Season TV Schedule: Dec. 22nd-28th
By Jason Parker
Here’s a look at when and where college football fans can catch all the best action from the second week of games during the 2018 bowl season.
With one week in the books for the 2018 addition of the college football bowl season, it has become evident that there are way too many bowl games out there – don’t get me wrong, I will watch every single one (even more so now with FSU football not taking my focus) but it sometimes can be football overload if you aren’t careful.
From bowl games in stadiums that are two thirds empty to being sponsored by cherries and potatoes and in places from Nassau to Tampa and Boise to Frisco, there were games that some college football fans didn’t even know existed and others that you wish you had three years of your lives back.
With that being said, the second week of games kick off on Saturday with games ranging from Birmingham to Hawai’i and will include a week of action involving teams from Power Five conferences as business picks up ahead of next week’s action that the causal fan of the game can’t wait to get to.

Here’s the list of when you can catch all the action from the second week of the 2018 college football bowl season.
Saturday, December 22nd
12 PM – Birmingham Bowl: Memphis vs. Wake Forest (ESPN)
We actually need the Demon Deacons to win this one so that the Seminoles can become one team closer to having played the toughest schedule in their history based off of the other teams’ performances.
3:30 PM – Armed Forces Bowl: Houston vs. Army (ESPN)
7 PM – Dollar General Bowl: Buffalo vs. Troy (ESPN)
10:30 PM – Hawai’i Bowl: Hawai’i vs. Louisiana Tech (ESPN)
Wednesday, December 26th
1:30 PM – First Responders Bowl: Boston College vs. No. 25 Boise State (ESPN)
5:15 PM – Quick Lane Bowl: Georgia Tech vs. Minnesota (ESPN)
9 PM – Cheez-It Bowl: California vs. TCU (ESPN)
Thursday, December 27th
1:30 PM – Independence Bowl: Temple vs. Duke (ESPN)
5:15 PM – Pinstripe Bowl: Miami vs. Wisconsin (ESPN)
Last season, the Badgers not only destroyed the Hurricanes in the Orange Bowl game but did so in the home stadium of the ‘Canes – well, the rented stadium of what used to be “The U”. Wisconsin will have to do it agains this season without their starting quarterback, who even with a concussion would still be better than anything Miami has right now at the position.
9 PM – Texas Bowl: Baylor vs. Vanderbilt (ESPN)
Friday, December 28th
1:30 PM – Music City Bowl: Purdue vs. Auburn (ESPN)
5:!5 PM – Camping World Bowl: No. 16 West Virginia vs. No. 20 Syracuse (ESPN)
9 PM – Alamo Bowl: No. 24 Iowa State vs. No. 13 Washington State (ESPN)
