Early Signing Day: 5 players the Noles could sign for 2019

Akeem Dent

I know I said we were looking at uncommitted players and Akeem Dent is a FSU commit. However, he’s the highest rated player in FSU’s class and the No. 33 ranked player nationally.

He’s been continuously recruited by Alabama, Miami and others in hopes of flipping him. However, Dent visited FSU last week with all the other commits/recruits and seemed very solid to the Noles as you can see in the video above.

They’ve been working to get him to shut his recruitment down and sign early and he’s been non-committal. However, they hope to stay on him and get that done before the Early Signing Period ends Friday.

If so, it would be a huge win for the recruiting staff and an instant impact player confirmed in the class.
