FSU Recruiting: Twitter reactions from Nole commits and targets
By Kelvin Hunt
FSU recruiting is looking to establish momentum heading into the early signing period next week. Commits and targets talked visiting FSU over the weekend.
FSU recruiting picked up its 16th commitment in the 2019 class Sunday night with the addition of three-star linebacker Kevon Glenn.
That seems to have kick-started the Noles as a host of other targets could announce their pledges in the coming days.
This recruiting class seems to have a few more vocal leaders than years past with players like Jaleel McRae, Curtis Fann and others.
Players were active on social media all weekend while visiting Tallahassee and they believe this class will be the one to put the Noles back on the map.
Three-star wide receiver commit Maurice Goolsby talking that talk!
Three-star defensive end Derrick McLendon is confident in his brothers in the trenches. Notice FSU target Malcolm Ray in the picture too.
Current USF commit Malcolm Ray could flip to the Noles.
Four-star FSU commit Curtis Fann recruiting former Miami commit Jarvis Brownlee.
Five-star cornerback and FSU commit Akeem Dent was all the way up on his visit.
FSU commit Renardo Green is solid to the Noles.
Yep, FSU needs nothing but dogs at that position please!
Huge FSU offensive line target Jay Williams could be a Nole soon.
One of FSU’s most underrated recruiters and current player Deonte Sheffield says Boston College offensive line commit Maurice Smith will flip to the Noles.
Thoughts
There’s seems to be a smoke in the air with a lot of players. FSU recruiting is in the mix for a lot of quality players with some signing as early as this week.
They are clearly addressing needs at linebacker and trying to fill needs on the offensive line. It’s just a matter of who they get to fill those spots.
They do need to hold onto QB commit Sam Howell who’s waiting to see who the Noles will hire. He played in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas High School All-Star Championship Saturday and is being pursued heavily by in-state school UNC who hired their offensive coordinator this week.
The Noles are ranked No. 13 in the nation with the recruiting class consisting of 75 percent blue chip players.
