2018 College Football Bowl Season TV Schedule: Dec. 15th-21st
By Jason Parker
Here’s a look at when and where college football fans can catch all the best action from the first week of games during the 2018 bowl season.
For 78 college football teams that play in the FBS level, the 2018 bowl season brings everything from swag bags to extra practices to the change to bring home everything from bragging right to a bowl trophy to, for four special teams, the chance to be crowned the national champions of the game.
At the same time, 52 teams from the FBS level – including the FSU football team for the first time since the 1981 season – are watching from home like every fan since they couldn’t get to six wins on the season. Heck, there are four teams that did get to six wins and still didn’t make a bowl game because of how many winning teams there were this season.

So, if you’re the Seminoles or USC or Nebraska or even Florida Atlantic or Liberty, you can at least take comfort in knowing that there is plenty of action to keep you occupied until the next college football season – and for the fans of teams that made it, here’s the list of when you can catch all the action from the first week of the 2018 college football bowl season.
December 15th
1:30 PM – Cure Bowl: Tulane vs. Louisiana Lafayette (CBS Sports Network)
2 PM – New Mexico Bowl: Utah State vs. North Texas (ESPN)
3:30 PM – Las Vegas Bowl: No. 21 Fresno State vs. Arizona State (ABC)
Hey, at least one college football team with the initials FSU is going to play in a bowl game this season! What, too soon? Yeah, I thought so.
5:30 PM – Camellia Bowl: Georgia Southern vs. Eastern Michigan (ESPN)
9 PM – New Orleans Bowl: Middle Tennessee vs. Appalachian State (ESPN)
December 18th
7 PM – Boca Raton Bowl: UAB vs. Northern Illinois (ESPN)
At least the Seminoles beat the Huskies this season, so I guess we can do our part and root for them so that it makes us look slightly better.
December 19th
8 PM – Frisco Bowl: San Diego State vs. Ohio (ESPN)
December 20th
8 PM – Gasparilla Bowl: Marshall vs. USF (ESPN)
Nothing says bowl season like playing a game inside the same stadium you call home during the regular season – maybe we can get Tallahassee to host a bowl game so we can pull that off.
December 21st
12:30 PM – Bahamas Bowl: FIU vs. Toledo (ESPN)
4 PM – Potato Bowl: Western Michigan vs. BYU (ESPN)
