FSU Football: 3 reasons hiring a new offensive coordinator is right move
By Kelvin Hunt
FSU football is in the market for a new offensive coordinator. We discuss three reasons why its the right move instead of Walt Bell remaining on staff.
The news FSU football would be in the market for a new offensive coordinator after just one season with Walt Bell caught a lot of folk off guard.
I was surprised basically because I was of the mindset of who would want to hire him after such a disaster of a season with FSU football in 2018?
Nevertheless, Walt Bell jetted to UMass with the quickness although it sounds like Willie Taggart has been preparing for this for a while.
It is a head coaching gig so that’s understandable, but the fact Bell took a paycut basically and went to a school that’s not known for football is telling.
Apparently he enjoyed his time in Tally and thinks Willie Taggart will get things going in the right direction.
Classy move by Bell as he was always well spoken and well liked it seemed because he never got any criticism for his part in the offense looking like they were completely lost at times.
At least Bell has his first head coaching job at a very young age and best of luck to him, but let’s talk about why this was the right move for FSU.
