FSU football needs a big win against NC State to keep their bowl hopes alive for 2019. We discuss the three huge keys to victory for the Noles.

FSU football is coming off one of the worst home defeats in ‘Noles history with No. 2 Clemson blasting them 59-10 last week.

The silver lining is that Clemson did the same exact thing to this weeks opponent in NC State. Last week was probably more of Clemson being that good than anything else, but it didn’t help FSU self-destructed once they went down 14-0.

This week brings a different animal in that the Noles will be on the road at Carter-Finley Stadium, a place that’s been tough for them to win over the years.

However, FSU found success their last trip up to Raleigh although they were lucky to win the game as Deondre Francois threw a sure-fire interception that was dropped.

He threw a prayer of a pass Travis Rudolph caught for a touchdown on the very next play and the rest is history.

Both teams come into this game with defenses that gave up over 50 points in their last outing. Both teams feature defenses that are stout against the run but with suspect secondaries.
