FSU Recruiting: Reactions to Deion Sanders’ son scholarship offer
By Kelvin Hunt
FSU recruiting added a familiar last name to its scholarship offer list for the 2019 class.
I wrote about FSU recruiting and how most of the 2019 commits are still trusting the process and rocking with the Noles despite the (3-3) start to the season.
FSU coaches were to hit the road recruiting during the bye week, but I’m not sure how much that was impacted with Hurricane Michael hitting the Tallahassee area.
However, one recruit did hear from the FSU recruiting staff this week and picked up a FSU offer.
It was 2019 three-star cornerback Shilo Sanders, the son of FSU legend Deion Sanders. Willie Taggart offered another son of Sanders earlier this year, 2021 QB recruit Shedeur Sanders.
Shilo Sanders has other offers from the likes of South Carolina, Oregon, Georgia, Nebraska, UCF and Syracuse.

It’s always funny to see the reaction to fans and how they perceive things at times. Sometimes it’s hard to decipher with the kids of former great football players and how good they really are.
Are they living off their dad’s name or do they really have the talent to play at an elite division one program?
Sanders has good size and length at 6’0″ 180 pounds with the ability to play press man coverage as illustrated in the video. He also showed a good ability to avoid getting juked out of his shoes in that worthless drill they do at these type camps.
The Noles already have one of the top defensive back classes in the nation with four defensive backs ranked in the top 20 in the nation.
Deion Sanders loves Coach Taggart so it’ll be interesting to see where Shiloh decides to enroll next fall.
