FSU football will travel to Miami to avenge last years loss to the Canes and snapping their seven year winning streak.

FSU football needs to win this game against the Miami Hurricanes Saturday for several reasons.

It’s a huge rivalry game with recruiting implications with another win getting the Noles closer to bowl eligibility.

The Noles are coming off back-to-back wins in which the offense has shown signs of life. A comeback win over Louisville has to have the Noles riding high. The key to winning is simply not beating themselves and playing smart football and executing.

I’ve been pretty bearish on the Canes since early last year as I believe they are not as good as their record indicates.

They live and die off turnovers on defense and their offense isn’t elite by any means.

Miami hasn’t beaten anyone of note and the Noles haven’t played well, especially on the offensive side of the ball. FSU football is just as talented if not more than the Canes across the board.

Most betting sites have the Noles as 14 point underdogs, a start contrast to the -5.5 in the preseason according to Oddshark.com.

Let’s talk about the five areas that have separated these teams through five games.
