Offensive Line Played A Heck Of A Game
We’ve done it, national media have done and it most of all FSU fans have blasted the offensive line the past few years.
I’m here to tell you those guys played pretty well against Louisville and it’s a big reason the Noles were able to pull off the come from behind victory.
Yes, the rushing game struggled, but I think that’s more to do with when the Noles are running the ball than anything.
FSU seems to be extremely predictable on standard running downs and why we’ve advocated they pass more on first downs so teams can’t stack the box against the run so much.
The FSU offense averaged 6.37 yards per play and only allowed two sacks and six tackles for loss on the day.
Francois was 5 of 12 for 76 yards in the first half and 11 of 15 for 218 yards in the second half. The biggest difference was Francois picking up his level of play in the second half as he had time to make most of his throws Saturday unlike the first few games of the season.
