The Team Found A Way To Win And Didn’t Quit
FSU was down 21-7 with Louisville marching down the field looking like they were going to go up 28-7 with four minutes left in the third quarter.

However, a tackle for loss and sack by Brian Burns forced the Cardinals to punt. The offense was finally able to feed off the defense with Deondre Francois finding Tamorrion Terry for a TD bomb for the second week in a row to give FSU football new life.
The hardest thing for a team to experience is for one unit to be playing well while the other struggles.
For instance, the defense goes out and gets a three and out to give the ball to the offense and then they turn the ball right back over or go three and out.
After a while it becomes easy for a defense to say “the hell with it” and start playing hero ball and not playing assignment football.
I really thought that was on the verge of that happening because the FSU offense couldn’t sustain anything consistent until the Terry touchdown.
Once that happened it seemed to give the defense new life and a reason to continue playing hard because they easily could have folded after playing 46 snaps in the first half.
Also, kudos to the offense for staying with it and coming through in the clutch. Deondre Francois had a terrible first half and left a lot of plays on the field even though the offensive line was playing well.
He had a great second half, but that only possible because the offensive line did their job by giving him time to find the playmakers.
