FSU football will kick things off in just over one month, and those who haven’t purchased tickets yet may have to shell out a pretty penny to see the Noles.

In just over five and a half weeks (too long, if you ask me), the FSU football team will take the field inside Doak Campbell Stadium for the first time this season when the Seminoles take on the Virginia Tech Hokies – a game that could be the first home opener that sells out since the 2014 season when the Noles defeated The Citadel.

It will be the first of seven home games for the Seminoles – the first time that Florida State has had that many home games since the 2015 season – as part of a slate that is one of the toughest in the country, with home contest including the Hokies, the Clemson Tigers and the Florida Gators.

If you want to see those big name games and haven’t purchased your season or single game tickets through the ticket office for FSU football, you might have to spend more than you expected – and if you want to go to the other four home games, you might have plenty left over for a post game meal.

According to Vivid Seats, the ticket exchange company, the prices for purchasing games on the secondary market – as expected – change depending on the quality of opponent as of Friday morning.

"Virginia Tech – $73 (lowest price available)Samford – $4Northern Illinois – $6Wake Forest – $8Clemson – $86Boston College – $9Florida – $88"

Of course, for those who want to make a road trip to see the Seminoles play in one of their five games outside of Tallahassee this season – including their once every two seasons trip to South Florida to face the Miami Hurricanes along with their November visit to Notre Dame – you will need to pack some more bills.

"Syracuse – $32Louisville – $76Miami – $139N.C. State – $101Notre Dame – $118"

The tickets listed above for Louisville, Miami and N.C. State are all higher than what the school is selling them for – while Syracuse is slightly lower and tickets are not being sold individually for the FSU football-Notre Dame game by the school.

Chop Chat reached out to the University of Miami ticket office to see if single game tickets will be sold should the Seminoles’ allotment sell out and were informed that there are no plans to see single game tickets at this time, meaning the secondary market would be your only backup option.
