FSU recruiting has returned to the forefront now that spring camp has concluded.
FSU recruiting has gotten off to a great start with several key additions to the 2019 recruiting class over the past couple of weeks.
The Noles ascended to the No. 1 ranking for a short stint but now sits at the No. 3 spot behind Oklahoma and Texas A&M.
FSU has 10 commitments and likely has room about 12-15 more depending on how things shake out. We’ve talked about how Willie Taggart and staff will be selective in whose commitments they’ll accept.
The good news is they already have top targets committed at the quarterback, offensive line and defensive back positions. FSU coaches began to hit the recruiting trails again this week with the conclusion of spring camp.

Thoughts
FSU recruiting has already had a large number of recruits to visit Tallahassee in the first four months of the year. The key will be identifying those that are priority to influence them to come back to campus.
We always say follow the visits in recruiting. Also, it’ll be necessary to begin to figure out which players can and want to sign in the early signing period in December.
The more players they can sign early the better as things can get crazy in the final two months. FSU recruiting can also begin to lay the groundwork for future classes in 2020 and beyond.
The staff has done a great job of positioning themselves to be in the mix for several highly rated players in 2019. I would be shocked if FSU doesn’t finish with a top five or better recruiting class.
