Option No. 3

New School Division: Boston College, Florida State, Louisville, Miami, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Virginia Tech

Old School Division: Clemson, Duke, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, N.C. State, Virginia, Wake Forest

This is a division breakdown that all the old school, basketball first people in the ACC would absolutely love since they seem to do nothing but complain about the Seminoles and all the old Big East teams that have come into the conference and dragged it kicking and screaming into the 20th century where football is the money making sport and it’s the thing that is keeping the league afloat.

On the other side, it would be a travel nightmare for FSU football as the Seminoles would be making at least one trip to the Northeast ever season, another one to either the Cardinals or Panthers and finally either to the Hokies or Hurricanes. It’s not that something like that is difficult based on talent, but all that traveling could make the Noles tired quicker in the season.
