FSU football fans, feeding off the response from former All-American Jalen Ramsey, were having none of the Aggies trying to take credit for our greats.

When fans of the FSU football team woke up Tuesday morning and checked social media, they probably had no idea that their day was going to be so eventful thanks to people who no longer reside in the city of Tallahassee – and how one of the best in recent memory was going to ether those who he once called his “leaders.”

Let us start at the beginning, where former assistant coach Tim Brewster – who now is the tight ends coach for the annual third place at best SEC West finishers Texas A&M  – decided to hype up his new bosses and all the great defensive backs that his boss (who will not have his name mentioned) at one time was a head coach of that are now cashing NFL paychecks.

Thanks to the speed of social media, this insanity spread so quickly and made its way over the Jacksonville – where one of the players in that photo, Jaguars star Jalen Ramsey, was having absolutely none of it and kept things 100 when it came to the “coaching” that took place under the previous administration.

Needless to say, FSU football nation decided to go in for the kill and finish off the bones of Brewster, his boss and the fact they left the Seminoles for a program that has virtually no history over the last few decades that they have to “borrow” ones from other schools to sell their program.

Look, in reality I get what Brewster was trying to say here. His argument was that the players were brought into Tallahassee under his leadership as recruiting coordinator and that he’s going to be able to do the same thing in College Station. His intent was not bad – his execution was horrible.

FSU football has been one of the gold standards in college football over the last three decades, while Texas A&M has won just two conference championships in the last 25 seasons and hasn’t brought home a national title since the 1930s. Some may think the Aggies have better facilities, but the Seminoles have a better resume.

Next time you want to plagiarize our resume, Timmy, think twice about that. You had a nice run in Tallahassee, but it’s time to own the mistake you and the others made in leaving.
