FSU Grad, ESPN Anchor trolls Florida Gators football woes on-air

FSU football has enjoyed a record setting streak of wins over their hated rivals – and one member of the Worldwide Leader wanted them to remember that.
Over the sixty seasons that FSU football has squared off annually with their hated rivals, the Florida Gators, those of us in garnet and gold have had to endure plenty of streaks in which those people in orange and blue get to gloat about beating our beloved Seminoles – to be honest, it can get a little nauseating at points if you ask me.
Well, the tables have turned over the last half of the rivalry, in which the Seminoles have a 20-12-1 advantage over the Gators since 1987. It’s a record that has been bumped up thanks to a five game winning streak – the longest for FSU in the series – that came thanks to a 38-16 win this year in Gainesville (also our fourth straight win on their home turf, FYI.)
It’s something that we in FSU football nation love to remind those people in those tacky colors about on a daily basis – and now, one member of the Seminole family with a nearly international platform is making sure that everyone knows about the Florida State dominance of their bitter foes of late.
During a recent SportsCenter segment talking about the college basketball rivalry between Duke and North Carolina, Max Bretos – a Miami native and 1994 graduated of FSU who loves to talk up the Seminoles on TV and social media – managed to figure out a way to troll those Crocs.
Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to take back many of the things I have said about the Worldwide Leader and beg them to give Bretos his own show or whatever he wants. This kind of FSU love – and Gator hate – needs to be promoted at all time and on all platforms.

Florida fans would love to point out that the program has had their only two losing seasons since 1979 during that same span and that the Gators are on their way back. Sure, there may come a time that FSU loses a game to the Crocs again – but until that time in the next decade, we have plenty to celebrate and gloat about from Tallahassee to Bristol, Connecticut.
