FSU football brought in a great recruiting class with only one key miss this cycle.

FSU football had one of the best National Signing Days of all the top program in the nation Wednesday.

Coach Willie Taggart was able to address team needs, add depth and got a lot faster with some skill positions.

There are 13 blue chip recruits out of 21 which equates to a 62 percent blue chip ratio. That’s 12 percent higher than the old regime’s 2017 recruiting class.

The ‘Noles finished No. 11 in the 247 Composite rankings, ahead of rival Florida and Texas A&M where the former head coach went even though he stopped recruiting a month before he left.

Not to mention coach Willie Taggart spent the majority of his time without a full staff to assist in recruiting. He spent most of his time balancing recruiting players with recruiting staff members to join him in Tallahassee.

This recruiting class has be to graded on a curve of sorts because of the circumstances inherited by Taggart when he took the job.

FSU got nine players from Florida, seven players from Georgia and three players from the west coast. Let’s get into our grades for the class.
