FSU basketball blew a game they should have easily won against Wake Forest.

FSU basketball (16-6, 5-5 ACC) lost a game against lowly Wake Forest (9-13, 2-8 ACC), a game they had no business losing. However, that’s what happens when you continue to allow team to shot near 50 percent from the floor.

The ‘Noles blew a 10 point lead in the first half and a six point halftime. They shot the ball poorly and played lazy on defense to allow Wake Forest to evaporate the halftime lead in about two minutes.

One Wake Forest took the lead the ‘Noles could never seemingly regain control of the game. Braian Angola was held scoreless until late in the game and fouled out with just over three minutes left in the game.

Phil Cofer, Christ Koumadje and M.J. Walker were the only Noles to score in double figures. The fans knew it was a game FSU should have won and displayed their frustration on social media.

James Knudson hit it on the head with his tweet. This was a game FSU needed to win to have a great shot at reaching 10 wins in ACC play.

They now need to win five of eight games remaining with three of those being ranked in the top 20 in the nation.

Can we make a freaking free throw? It’s the same mess every year it seems like at the most inopportune time.

How about moving your feet instead of being lazy and reaching? I’m not sure what happened to Leonard Hamilton’s defenses, but they are about as bad as his offenses back in the day nowadays.

The ‘Noles will be on the road against Saturday as they look to avenge a previous defeat against Louisville.
