FSU football received it’s full schedule Wednesday and it looks manageable for the most part.

FSU football has played one of the toughest schedules in college football the last two years and the 2018 season will be no different.

The schedule was released Wednesday afternoon with the ‘Noles receiving a good early schedule but some of its toughest games on the back-end.

It’s interesting to see the fan reaction to the schedule. Some fans are way more optimistic than others and some fans are likely delusional.

Either way they’re excited to see when teams will be coming to Doak so they can make arrangements to be there.

Thoughts

I like the way the schedule sets up FSU to get some winning momentum and young players experience before the tough back-end portion.

It’s not the best home schedule but getting to open at home against Virginia Tech instead of a neutral site game is great. Also, getting Clemson and Florida at home should be big draws for FSU fans.

The ‘Noles having a bye week after the Miami and Louisville road games will be big for a chance to recover before facing Wake Forest and Clemson.

Like one of the tweets said, the November schedule is tough no question. Clemson and then traveling to NC State and Notre Dame back-to-back weeks is brutal.

Luckily NC State loses a ton of experienced talent from the team they had this year. All in all, it’s a manageable schedule that should see the ‘Noles reach 10 wins again.
