FSU alum Jalen Ramsey is arguably the best cornerback in the NFL.
FSU alum and Jacksonville Jaguar cornerback Jalen Ramsey was named first team all-pro this year and showed why on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills in his first playoff game.
The Jaguars were up 10-3 with Buffalo driving to tie the game with under two minutes left when Jalen Ramsey sealed the win with an interception.
It was his fifth interception this season.
There’s been an ongoing debate with rival fans about which university produces the best cornerbacks. It should be noted that FSU football has two cornerbacks that were named all-pro first team with FSU alum Xavier Rhodes also receiving the honor.
After review, the ruling on the field is confirmed: FSU is #DBU.

Look at the break on the pass and the concentration to corral the ball as he’s going to the ground. Yes, it was an interception as he had control of the ball even though it may have touched the ground at some point.

Jalen Ramsey allowed just 29 passing yards. It was his eighth time allowing less than 30 yards this season.

Thoughts
It’s amazing Jalen Ramsey is already in consideration as the best cornerback in the NFL in just his second season.
The numbers don’t lie as he’s held receivers to 29 yards or less in half the games this season.
He had 17 passes defended on the season which is three more than is rookie year. Also, he doubled his number of interceptions in the regular season from his rookie season.
For all the rival fans that want to lay claim to the “DBU” crown there are no colleges out there with TWO all-pro cornerbacks except FSU.
