FSU Football: 5 impact players from Independence Bowl win
By Kelvin Hunt
Ryan Izzo
Where have you been all season Mr. Izzo? It seems he has been invisible all season, but finished with more yards, touchdowns and one more reception than a year ago.
This game against Southern Mississippi was by far his most productive as he finished with six receptions for 59 yards with a long reception of 21 yards on the day.
He’ll finish the season with 20 receptions, 317 yards and three touchdowns.
There are reports that Izzo is considering forgoing his senior season to enter the NFL Draft, but one has to think he’d be potent in Willie Taggart’s offense.
He’s by far the most experienced tight end on the roster and could see his draft stock increased significantly with a big senior season.
We’ll keep you posted on his upcoming decision and how that’ll affect FSU football.
