The New Few Weeks

Willie Taggart will be busy trying to finish up hiring the rest of his FSU staff. He said he expects to have the staff fully in place by the end of the year.

The ‘Noles will play in the Independence Bowl against Southern Mississippi on Wednesday. A win there will continue the momentum FSU currently has on the recruiting trails.

The staff Taggart is putting together are thought to be group of elite recruiters with tons of key contacts in Florida, not to mention the players Taggart was recruiting while at Oregon.

They’re all fair game as we saw with Isaiah Bolden who pulled out a FSU visor from a Oregon bag during his signing ceremony Friday.

Also, players signed with FSU have great relationships with other recruits and will play a key role in helping shape the rest of this class.

This class won’t be a top five class because it will not have enough players to compete with other programs signing 23+ players.

However, when it comes to per play average, the ‘Noles will likely have one of the highest rated classes in the country.
