FSU football is looking to have an epic close on the 2018 recruiting class.

A lot of rival FSU football fans are looking at national composite recruiting rankings and shooting their shot when it comes to the ‘Noles.

After all, FSU is ranked No. 47 in the country with nine(and likely soon to be eight) commitments.

When’s the last time the ‘Noles were ranked that low? I’m not sure it got that bad during the “lost decade that wasn’t really a decade”, but I things are about to start picking up around these parts.

The good news is the quality of the 2018 class is very good with a composite average rating of 91.44. That’s higher than five schools ranked in the top 10 at the moment.

FSU football will be able to take around 16-17 more commitments in this class if coach Taggart wants to go that direction.

‘Noles fans are getting restless because Taggart hasn’t landed a recruit since becoming head coach less than 10 days ago.

I provided a list of 10 players this recruiting cycle that FSU could realistically land. If they land over half of them it would be a huge boost, and I think the ‘Noles will get their fair share of them.

Let’s take a look at what Taggart has been doing recruiting wise since becoming head coach.
