FSU football has already experienced the Willie Taggart effect.

FSU football is undergoing a metamorphosis before our very eyes. It’s hard to qualify, but it’s really fun to be a fan of this team again.

The weird part is they haven’t played one down for new head coach Willie Taggart, but the fan base is rejuvenated and players already feel his swag.

The best way I can describe FSU football is looking at yourself in the mirror each day. Because you’re so used to what you look like, it’s hard to see the subtle changes as they occur over time.

The wrinkles in places that used to be smooth, Lebron James hair and fat that gradually appeared over time.

That’s what it felt like the last few years under the former FSU football coach. If not for a generational talent like Dalvin Cook, who knows what other flaws would have been uncovered.

However, Wednesday the mirror revealed all those flaws and more when Willie Taggart was named new head football coach at FSU.

Let’s take a look at how Taggart has already impacted the FSU football program in less than a week on the job.
