FSU Football: National media react to ‘Noles disappointing season
By Kelvin Hunt
FSU football has gotten off to the worst start in the Jimbo Fisher era.
This FSU football team started the season No. 3 in the nation and had legitimate aspirations to compete for a national championship.
However, loss in their season opener and the loss of starting quarterback Deondre Francois for the season has seemingly taken the life out of this team.
Even without Deondre Francois this FSU team was a double digit favorite at home against NC State. That’s how talented the FSU football roster is and a major reason FSU fans are fed up with this season.
FSU barely won the two games they’ve won this season against Duke and Wake Forest, and now national media members are beginning to chime in with their thoughts on this team.
Thoughts
Listen, I know some of these guys have ‘history’ with FSU or are openly biased against the ‘Noles. However, there is absolutely nothing we as fans can say when the same thing happens every single week.
The FSU offense can’t score when the FSU defense finally gets a stop. Not to be outdone the FSU defense can’t get stops in crunch time.
It’s at the point now that FSU fans readily predict with disturbing accuracy what’s going to happen during games.
This FSU football team looks disorganized on both sides of the ball and players take forever to line up. A number of players look unmotivated and seem to be putting themselves ahead of the team nowadays.
