ACC football will take center stage in primetime when Clemson travels to Louisville Saturday night.

The ACC football conference title still goes through Tallahassee, but all eyes will be on the Clemson/Louisville game Saturday night.

It was a thriller last year and this year will be the first time the reigning national champions(Clemson) take on the reigning Heisman Trophy winner (Lamar Jackson).

Clemson is favored by three points on the road.

Let’s check out the fan reaction and predictions for the game.

Thoughts

There isn’t another player like Lamar Jackson in the country, however, the kid is a one man show this year as Louisville lost all of their top receivers from last season.

The Louisville defense also is a shell of itself from recent seasons as they allowed UNC to churn up 6.6 ypp last week before pulling away late.

Now, the Clemson offense isn’t the same without Deshaun Watson obviously, but they have enough skill players to give Louisville problems on defense.

Tiger’s quarterback Kelly Bryant is a dual-threat problem himself, so I’m sure he’ll give the Louisville defense problems too. He ran the ball 19 times against Auburn last week and accounted for both Clemson touchdowns.

Clemson will by far be the best defense Louisville plays until they face FSU in a few weeks, and I don’t think Jackson has enough support to pull off the mild upset tonight.

I’m thinking Clemson rolls and covers the spread as they were my top bet this week.
