There’s one Miami super fan that dislikes the ‘Noles but has a healthy respect for them at the same time. That’s Luther Campbell from “2 Live Crew” rap fame back in the day for those younger in age.

Campbell has been vocal in the past about his dislike of the direction of the Miami program. He was not a fan of Miami’s previous coach Al Golden, and even had players from the teams he coached to play at FSU while Golden was coach.

I have to give Campbell props because he didn’t allow his fandom to get in the way of what was best for his players, and that was playing at FSU.

However, it seems as though is faith has been restored in the Miami program with former Georgia coach Mark Richt at the helm.

Campbell tweeted the following statement earlier Thursday:

Thoughts

It’s nothing new for Campbell to talk a little smack on Twitter, in fact he and FSU coach Tim Brewster throw playful jabs at one another all the time on that platform.

However, I’m curious if Campbell isn’t really confident in Miami ending the streak against FSU this season. He’s going to “tweak” something about Florida State?

That could be a sly way of getting out of having to do this

if

when FSU football rolls over Miami for the eighth straight year to even up the all time series.

Maybe it was auto-correct on his cell?

Then again, Campbell respects the FSU football program, so it’s not like he’d have a hard time saying nice things every day of the season.
