Justin Fields took his third visit to FSU this past Thursday. Since then the crystal balls have been flooding in for the Seminoles.

After news broke that Justin Fields was on FSU’s campus for his third visit, Florida State had a surge of Crystal Ball predictions on 247Sports.com this past weekend. The ‘Noles surpassed 50% of predictions with Georgia in second place with 20%.

Florida recently received a commitment from 5-star quarterback Matt Corral. Given that I believe it is unlikely the Gators will get Fields commitment. Florida State, Georgia, and Auburn are the three remaining teams that have a shot at getting Fields. If I had a crystal ball I would agree with the 53% and put mine on FSU.

It’s difficult for me to see Georgia given they have 5-star Jacob Eason and 4-star Jake Fromm. I believe early playing time is a priority of his and that isn’t guaranteed in Athens. Although there are still some experts who feel Georgia is the true leader.

As far as Auburn goes I believe they are the most unlikely of the three. I give the Tigers less than a 5% chance and I’m being generous.

I’ve said it numerous times on social media and wrote about it. Justin Fields will be a Seminole. Everything points towards the ‘Noles. Development and a good relationship with the staff are two big points he’s looking for. As far as development goes there isn’t a better program in the country to go to.

Obviously I can’t speak on his relationship with the staff because only Fields himself can speak on that. However, its safe to assume Jimbo leaves a very good impression on Fields.

Justin Fields is a Jameis Winston type prospect. Not saying he’s Jameis but I am saying he has an extremely high ceiling and high floor similar to Winston. Like Winston, Fields is the type of talent that can lead a team anywhere they desire to go.

With a little polish from the QB guru in Jimbo Fisher, Justin Fields is destined to do great things for the Seminoles if that ultimately ends up being his decision.

While Fields hasn’t yet set an announcement date, I foresee him putting on the FSU hat when the time comes.
