Justin Fields, the nations No.1 dual threat QB in the 2018 class, is at the top of the Noles board but do they have a legitimate chance at signing him?

Fields hasn’t named leader at the moment but he does have certain schools he’s communicating with more than others.

Florida State, North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Auburn, and Ole Miss are among the programs he’s having most contact with.

Out of that group of schools Florida State, Florida, and Georgia are among the top. As many know Justin’s sister is committed to play softball at Georgia.

Some experts and fans have said that gives Georgia the edge over the competition. However, I disagree with that theory.

While Justin has said he is very close with his sister he has also said his decision will come down to  academics, player development, and his relationship with the staff. Florida State has the best track record with quarterbacks out of all the schools he is most in touch with.

Jimbo Fisher develops quarterbacks better than any program in the country. A resume of four first round draft picks. Two of those being No.1 overall picks – JaMarcus Russell (2007) and Jameis Winston (2015). Jimbo Fisher knows quarterbacks.

After Justin Fields decommitment from Penn State, Florida became the favorite for the nations No.3 overall prospect. However, recently it is looking like a close battle between Florida State and Florida. Given the information I have the Noles are the team to beat for the moment.

Fields arrived in Gainesville Tuesday for his unofficial visit through Wednesday evening. Fields met with several members of the Gators 2017 class while there. Dating back to June 12th Justin has taken unofficial visits to Georgia, Auburn, FSU, and Florida. All in that order.

For Justin Fields final decision on where he will play college ball at, he has not yet made a decision on when that will be. However, whichever school manages to land him will have an absolute game changer in its class.
