It seems like it’s a love/hate relationship between FSU football fans and how they feel about EJ Manuel. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that it’s “likely” Manuel would be signing with the Oakland Raiders have four seasons with the Buffalo Bills who drafted him in 2013.

Manuel only played in six games last season with one start. He was 11 of 26 for 131 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions thrown.
Check out how FSU fans reacted to the news:
@paulytasker well good for EJ. All around good guy. Just didn't pan out in Buffalo..

I agree. He was never the same after that Cleveland game. They gave him a raw deal.

Thoughts
The Raiders are looking for solid backup options behind Derek Carr who broke his leg in December and missed the reminder of the season. Their backup last season Matt McGloin is a free agent, and the Raiders drafted Conner Cook in their draft last season.
The Raiders will be breaking in a new offensive coordinator this season even though they had the second best offense in the AFC last season. If Carr is 100%, he’ll be the full-time starter no question.

Here’s hoping Manuel can at least be serviceable if his number has to be called as his numbers and playing time have dwindled every year he has been in the NFL.
