FSU football had another successful National Signing Day – now it’s time to project who is going to to play early and who is headed for a redshirt.

Despite the ups-and-downs of National Signing Day, there’s no question that #Tribe17 was a huge success for FSU football. Jimbo Fisher ended up with the sixth-best recruiting class in the country according to 247’s composite team rankings.

The point total given to #Tribe17 by 247Sports — 291.56 — is just four points lower than 2016’s second-ranked class. And it’s the third highest total signed by Florida State in the Fisher era. So yeah, not bad.

Though the class does have a higher number of three-stars than we are used to seeing, it also boasts three of the ten best recruits in the country. There’s a good mix of top-level talent and, at worst, valuable depth for the future.

Unfortunately, we are in a time where fans want results as quickly as possible. So just a day after signing such an impressive class, what everyone wants to know is: Which of the new Seminoles are going to be impact freshman? And which are more than likely headed for a redshirt?

Well, we’re here for you, ‘Nole fans. Here are our thoughts on the matter.
