NC State (7-6, 3-5 ACC)

NC State was a year of “almost” for Dave Doeren. They started the season on a bad note losing to in-state foe ECU in the second game of the year.

However, they had big wins over Notre Dame(also played in a hurricane) and was a missed field goal from beating Clemson.

They also played FSU tough and went on to beat UNC in their season finale before thrashing Vanderbilt in their bowl game. I think pulling 7-6 against their schedule was a “win” for Doeren.

NC State has 15 commitments for 2017 that’s ranked No. 11 in the ACC and No. 54 nationally.
