With 11 weeks of the 2016 season done, here is who the ACC will be sending to each of their bowl game spots according to the Chop Chat staff.

After what could only be described as a chaotic week in the world of the Top 25 rankings – with the No. 2, 3 and 4 ranked teams all losing on the same day for the first time in 31 years – the bowl picture has gotten cloudy across all of college football.

The week also hit the Atlantic Coast Conference hard. With Clemson going out and getting upset at home against Pittsburgh, their is a slight chance the ACC could get left out of the CFB Playoff – or a team that won’t even play for the conference title could be heading to the four team system.

So far, nine teams in the ACC have become bowl eligible. However, just one team is within a game of getting to win number six (N.C. State) while two teams sit at 4-6 and need to win out to get eligible.

Here’s a look at where the Chop Chat team thinks each of the eligible teams will be spending their postseason this December and January.

College Football Playoff

Louisville Cardinals – The men in red could be one of a possible three teams that don’t win their own division but make the playoff. Yeah, this new system REALLY works.

Capital One Orange Bowl

Clemson Tigers – A loss that couldn’t happen at a worse time as the Tigers now could be heading back to Miami Gardens for the second straight bowl season.

Russell Athletic OR Citrus Bowl

Florida State Seminoles – If the ‘Noles can finish the year with a solid 9-3 record, they become quite sexy to bowl games, especially ones in Florida.

Belk Bowl

Virginia Tech Hokies – Despite this week’s upset loss to Georgia Tech, they’re still on course to win the Coastal Division – and probably lose to Clemson.

Pinstripe Bowl

North Carolina Tar Heels – The men in baby blue are still on track to head to the Bronx…but could easily end up getting knocked down a peg (especially if Miami heats up).

Sun Bowl

Pittsburgh Panthers – The upset win for the Steel City increases their chances of an eight win season and ups their bowl standing in the league.

Music City OR TaxSlayer Bowl

Miami Hurricanes – If the ‘Canes can win out (which is a real chance with games against N.C. State and Duke), Miami could easily move up to a better game.

Independence

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets – The more that Virginia Tech wins for the rest of the regular season, the more G-Tech’s win this week will help their stock.

Quick Lane

Wake Forest Demon Deacons – The Deacs got exposed this week against Louisville and watched their status in the bowl process drop as a result.

Military

N.C State Wolfpack – The men from Raleigh need to win one of their final two games (Miami and UNC) to head to a bowl game. It’s a stretch, but still possible.

St. Petersburg (if enough teams qualify)

Boston College Eagles, Duke Blue Devils or Syracuse Orange – All three teams sit and 4-6 and face remaining schedules that should make them at least 5-7, so don’t bet on this bowl hosting the ACC.
