No. 2 – Florida State 28 Miami 10 (1993)

It had been nearly a half decade since the Seminoles had come out on top of the rivalry, seeing the ‘Canes win a couple more titles while wondering when FSU football was going to win their first one. That question would be answered during the second weekend in October, when Charlie Ward, Warrick Dunn, Derrick Brooks and a cast of dozens more ended the losing streak in convincing fashion. The victory was as much about emotions and getting the monkey off their backs, helping to catapult them to that first national title.
