After four straight defeats to the Hurricanes (and watching their rivals win two national titles), the Seminoles got some payback in a big way under the light of a late October night in Tallahassee. Peter Tom Willis and Dexter Carter led the ‘Noles offense while names like Odell Haggins, LeRoy Butler and Terrell Buckley stifled the Hurricanes’ offense to put a blemish on Miami’s record for their third national title season.
