What was said:

"It’s not a runaway that Deshaun Watson is the ACC’s best player as Cook garnered preseason offensive player of the year votes from conference coaches. No player had as many explosive plays as Cook last season, and this upcoming fall he will be running behind a seasoned offensive line."

It’s interesting they listed Cook behind running backs Christian McCaffrey and Leonard Fournette. Sure their numbers were better last season, but they played in more games than Cook because of his hamstring injury.

If this list is based on contributions for the 2016 season as the criteria stated, I’d put my money on Cook as it’ll be hard for them to replicate their numbers from last season.

Cook is the most explosive running back in college football, and with an improved offensive line he’ll become the all-time leading rusher in FSU football history in only three seasons.

The No.1 player on the list was Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson.
