FSU football has so many talented players that many of them have not seen any real action in their careers at this point. Some have seen limited action, but the 2016 season could be the time they emerge as huge contributors.

FSU football had a good year in what we call a “rebuilding” year in 2015, ending the year with 10 wins and three losses.

There’s no doubt that FSU football will field one of the best teams in the country in 2016 with multiple returning starters on both sides of the ball featuring electric players.

We already profiled the areas that FSU needs to improve on offense and defense to be elite.

However, there will be times where players will have to elevate their individual games in order for this team to win the ACC and have a chance to compete for another national title.

We want to profile the top five dark horse players that could be impactful in 2016.
