FSU Spring Practice will finish up this week and take us into the spring game on Saturday. Let’s discuss the top five things going into the spring game.

FSU spring practice has been interesting due to a number of position battles, not to mention Jimbo Fisher being unhappy with a number of things.

Fisher has repeatedly mentioned the players not understanding the championship expectations placed upon them. The “cause and effect” of doing things the wrong/right way.

A number of players have missed most or all of spring practice. Lorenzo Featherston’s career could be over. Dalvin Cook just had shoulder surgery and will miss the rest of the spring. He’ll be back around June/July according to Fisher.

Sean Maquire is still wearing a boot on his surgically repaired ankle that was injured in the bowl game against Houston. Rick Leonard has moved from the defensive line to the offensive line.

Chris Casher has moved from the defensive line to tight end.

However, the ‘Noles had arguably their best practice on Wednesday. Fisher said he was pleased with the effort and competitiveness among the players. That’s perfect timing as they head into the spring game on Saturday.

Let’s take a look at the top five things going into the spring game.
