FSU Football: 2016 Schedule Breakdown (Game By Game)
By Kelvin Hunt
South Florida came to Tally with a chip on their shoulders last season, enough to hang with the ‘Noles until the third quarter. FSU led the Bulls 14-7 at halftime, but it was the Dalvin Cook show once again as he ran for 266 yards on 30 carries and three touchdowns.
If there was a game where we felt Jimbo ran Cook too much, this was the game as Cook was still in there when the game pretty much in hand.
USF running back Marlon Mack who ran for 83 yards on 18 carries will return for the Bulls, as well as athletic quarterback Quinton Flowers.
Flowers has been inaccurate as a passer, but is dangerous with his legs. USF has a decent defense that usually plays out of a 4-2-5 look.
USF will come to play, but it’s a game that FSU Football should win as they prepare to host UNC the following week.
