Man, NC State has to play Notre Dame, Clemson, Louisville, Boston College and FSU in consecutive weeks? Somebody really dislikes Dave Doeren. Oh we do, we haven’t forgotten that he accused a FSU player of faking an injury to slow down their hurry up offense.

I know FSU fans get all weird when we have to travel to Carter Finley Stadium. I was at that game in 2014, talk about enduring smack talk the first half? Oh buddy did I give it back in the second half though, and plan to do it again in 2016.

Jacoby Brissett is out as NC State quarterback and a new offensive coordinator (coming from Boise St.) will be at the helm. The coordinator is a Gus Malzahn disciple, so we can expect a quick pace and lots of window dressing.

NC State will have dangerous running back Matt Dayes returning who had over 800 yards rushing before getting injured against Clemson and missing the last five games.

They’ll be returning eight starters on defense.

FSU defeated NC State 34-17 last season, overcoming a 17-7 deficit and holding the Wolfpack scoreless in the second half. The ‘Noles will travel to Raleigh on November 5.
