NIT Tournament: 3 Things Valparaiso Does Well
By Kelvin Hunt
The second round of the NIT Tournament will get underway on Thursday night with FSU taking on the No. 1 seed Valparaiso Crusaders at 7 p.m.
FSU basketball will be playing in the second round of the NIT tournament for the first time since 2014 after defeating Davidson on Tuesday night to earn their 20th win of the season.
They’ll be taking on the Valparaiso Crusaders from the Horizon League who went (26-6, 16-2) on the season and defeated No. 8 seeded Texas Southern on Tuesday night.
The ‘Noles will have to travel to Indiana to play on Valparaiso’s home court where they only lost once all season.
