Defensive line

The ‘Noles signed two extremely talented defensive linemen.

Josh Sweat – The crown-jewel of the DL class, Sweat is an athletic freak. He’s a very explosive pass rusher who makes plays. Sweat suffered a serious knee-injury during his senior season and may not be able to play right away, but his ceiling is ridiculous.

Darvin Taylor – Another key signee at another position of need, Taylor is a very good catch for the ‘Noles. He was very dominant at the high school level, taking on double-teams and flashing a high motor.

Grade – B. Sweat and Taylor are elite players, but missing out on Terry Beckner Jr. and Shelton Johnson while losing D.J. Jones to Ole Miss was disappointing, but those guys were luxuries and the ‘Noles still signed an elite DL class.
