Meet the 2015 FSU Early-Enrollees
De’Andre Johnson – Quarterback – First Coast High School – 6’1″ , 180 lbs. – Three-Star
One thing comes to mind when watching Johnson’s highlights– the kid is a gamer. While he doesn’t have the prototypical height or weight that Fisher covets in his QBs, he’s a very good athlete.

Johnson shows great mobility and can avoid pass rushers. He doesn’t have elite speed, but he can burn a defense if he’s not contained. He flashes good arm strength and has nice touch on his throws.
Johnson comes into the spring with an opportunity to fight for the starting QB position that was vacated by Jameis Winston last week. I think it’s very unlikely that he wins that battle, but I am a believer that Johnson can be a very good football player for Florida State.
