The ‘Noles currently boast the No. 2 ranked recruiting class in the country. In this article, we take a look at and introduce you to the seven FSU early-enrollees in this year’s recruiting class.

Early-enrollees have been a prominent fixture at Florida State under Jimbo Fisher, with a total of 30 EEs since the 2010 season. So far the early-enrollment process has proven very beneficial for the ‘Noles, as players such as Dalvin Cook, DeMarcus Walker, Devonta Freeman, Tank Carradine, and Amp McCloud all made significant contributions their first years after enrolling early.

This year’s class of early enrollees could easily be Jimbo Fisher’s best — and the best in the country — as three five-star, three four-star and one three-star recruit have made it on campus in January. The ‘Noles are currently awaiting a decision from four-star offensive lineman Jalen Merrick, who was cleared Friday afternoon to enroll early and will show up on campus at either FSU, UF, or Arkansas next week. 2014 offensive lineman Ethan Frith is also on campus after delaying his enrollment due to a shoulder injury.

Here’s a look at the early-enrollees:
