Here’s a look at what to watch for when Florida State travels to Raleigh to face NC State.
If you don’t know what to watch for when the Florida State Seminoles travel to take on the NC State Wolfpack, you can start by just gauging how amped FSU is when it takes the field. As has been written here all week, if Florida State isn’t raging mad after being knocked by the media for the past week and a half — and at the memory of its last trip to Raleigh — then something is seriously wrong with the Seminoles.
No, there’s no shortage of motivation for FSU this week. Nor is there an absence of what to watch for. Jameis Winston will be looking to make a statement after missing last weekend’s game. The defense will be looking to bounce back after losing two of its best players last week. For the first time all season two of the five-star freshman receivers that arrived this Summer will play a bigger part of the WR rotation. And then there are plenty of questions the Seminoles will be looking to answer in regards to their run game.
Saturday is truly one of those “show me” games for FSU.
The entire nation has started to doubt whether FSU is a playoff team. There will be a hungry 4-0 team across the field looking to end Florida State’s winning streak. And revenge is in the air. Don’t think the upperclassmen on the team have forgotten the shocking upset that occurred two years ago.
