Dan Kelley: Rashad Greene is obviously one of the top wide outs in the country but it doesn’t look like a clear second option has emerged for FSU at receiver yet (not including TE Nick O’Leary). Is Jesus Wilson going to be that guy going forward, or could someone else step into that role?

DV: I wrote a piece the other day specifically regarding the larger role that Wilson and Levonte “Kermit” Whitfield would play in this offense, given the manner in which it’s being defended. If teams continue to attempt to force Winston underneath, those balls need to go to explosive playmakers like Wilson and Whitfield.

We’ve also gotten a good look at FSU’s blue-chip freshman receivers in the first couple games. Travis Rudolph looks like a Greene clone (but with better size), and Ermon Lane has impressed as well. He’s similar to Kelvin Benjamin but is more polished at this stage than Benjamin was as a freshman.

PN: You’d like it to be one of the fifth-year seniors– either Christian Green or Scooter Haggins. But it’s looking like Bobo Wilson is the guy. Wilson missed the opener after an incident involving the theft of a scooter this Summer, but returned to provide some offense in the second game and — given his rapport with Winston — is likely to be the second receiving option moving forward this year.

For Maguire, on Saturday in the first half, the second option will undoubtedly be O’Leary — his roommate — who has already said he is looking forward to facing some man coverage against the Tigers.
