Can you smell it? Do you feel the atmosphere around you changing in rapid succession? That is correct, fine sir or lady — we are only one day away from the Florida State Seminoles traveling to Heinz Field to face the Pittsburgh Panthers for the first game of the season.

This Labor Day match-up provides many stories inside the actual story. I mean, we have already run through a slew of them in our Position Battles. Still, because football, there are so many other things that are going to alter the outcome to this game than just which offensive linemen are better at chip-blocking.

More importantly than all that, though, there are certain things that stick out that might make a Florida State fan salivate. Tickle their taste buds if you will. Call them reasons. Call them examples. Call it destiny (thanks Ghostbusters), but there seems to be about 5 things Florida State fans should really lookout for — not all of which are as complex as a zone-blocking scheme vs a four-man front.

That is why we are going to — because we are friends — talk about such things. Plus, if you can find a prop bet for some of the stuff we are going to discuss, well, then good for you! Just remember to we take six percent of whatever you win while using Chop Chat formulas. Sadly, for you (not for us), we don’t chip in if you lose.
