The 2024 season is one all FSU football fans would like to forget as soon as possible. The good news? Most of the upperclassmen who contributed to last year's debacle are no longer on the team.

It took a while, but Mike Norvell played several freshmen last year, knowing the experience gained could pay off big time this year.

All of those guys return except Luke Kromenhoek and DD Holmes. Kromenhoek wasn't going to be the starter at quarterback, and Holmes barely touched the field last year despite being a former blue-chip recruit.

FSU added 31 new players this spring, including 16 from the transfer portal. Every position is likely "open," but the expectation is several transfers will likely take starting positions due to their physicality and experience.

However, with new coordinators on offense and defense, there will be several positions with players vying for playing time.

We look at 10 players who'll battle for jobs when spring camp starts next month.
